Raphaël Zouzout is a lawyer, member of the Geneva Bar Association and of the Swiss Bar Association (SBA/FSA).

Raphaël holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Geneva. During his Master’s studies, he spent one academic year at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich.

In 2014, Raphaël obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions from the University of Geneva before joining a renowned law firm as a trainee lawyer. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2018 and was awarded the distinction of “1er brevet”, recognizing him as the top-ranked lawyer of his admission class.

Raphaël also gained several years of experience as a consultant with Ernst & Young (EY), where he advised clients on a broad range of Swiss and international tax matters, including tax planning strategies, negotiations with tax authorities, and domestic and cross-border litigation.

He regularly advises Swiss and international companies, SMEs, entrepreneurs and private clients. His areas of practice include contract law, corporate law, intellectual property law, employment law, debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, as well as criminal law. He frequently represents and assists clients before Swiss courts and authorities in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

In addition to his legal practice, Raphaël serves as an elected Associate Judge (Juge assesseur) at the Geneva Court of Justice. This judicial appointment complements his practice and provides him with valuable insight into the functioning of the Geneva courts and the adjudication of complex legal disputes.
